Rural development - Subproject

The purpose is to provide an opportunity for organizations to run their own smaller LEADER project to contribute to sustainable transformation through locally led development.

Thank you for all the great applications! Applications are now closed for this time.

Rural Development is one of our umbrella projects where your organization has the opportunity to apply for support for a smaller project. Running a sub-project means less administration and faster decisions compared to applying for Leader support for a more comprehensive initiative.

What can you search for?

The purpose of the umbrella project is to contribute to collective learning, new networks and fostered community, as well as new meeting places and new, sustainable activities in Upplandsbygd. To apply for support, your sub-project therefore needs to lead to one of these. For example, you can apply for:

  • to create a new meeting place, or adapt a meeting place to reach new target groups.
  • to purchase equipment that increases the possibilities of using a meeting room.
  • skills development or equipment to start a new leisure or cultural activity.
  • equipment, materials or expertise to create new services or service solutions
  • to develop working methods, methods or solutions to reduce the region's climate impact

Who can apply?

Applicants can be associations, organizations or companies operating within the geographical area of Upplandsbygd. The projects financed with this support must be of public benefit and contribute to development in Upplandsbygd's rural areas.

When can you apply?

Always contact us at the leader office before you start an application, we will listen to your idea and guide you so that the application is done correctly.
