Make the Food and Flavors Association visible

The newly founded association Mat och Smaker in Norra Stockholm works to promote local food production and local food craftsmanship by creating networks, spreading knowledge, arranging public collaboration events and increasing accessibility to locally produced foods. Today, there is a lack of a user-friendly digital platform and this project is intended to change that.

In the project, the association will develop a website to make the association's work visible and engage more small-scale local producers. The website will reduce the distance between producer and consumer and strengthen relationships in the local community. This will in turn make knowledge about the sustainability aspects of local food visible and contribute to a more sustainable use of local natural resources and reduced transport.

Consumers can get a better idea of what locally produced food is available through the website. Better visibility of the association will help create closer relationships between local producers and consumers and shorter food chains.
