About the project
Locally Grown through Maja DeBernardo and Fredrik Svensson in Knivsta were granted project support to develop a concept for starting up small-scale hydroponic and aquaponic cultivations.
Lokalt Odlat wants to improve the possibilities of producing food locally and increase our self-sufficiency. In order to be able to grow all year round as a complement to regular outdoor cultivation, Lokalt Odlat wants to spread the concept and make it easier for more entrepreneurs to start a small-scale business. The project is based on developing agreements, concepts and recipes for starting aquaponic and hydroponic cultivations.
Motivation of the Board:
The idea of having subsidiaries in this type of cultivation feels new and should be attractive.
for those who want to invest in something similar but who do not have the capacity to start a business from scratch.
Support 50,000 SEK
Locally Grown was also granted project support in marketing within Sustainable Entrepreneurship
Lokalt Odlat wants to create a clear website. This project will work on developing the website to communicate with customers in a clearer way as the company has several different customer categories, both those who want to start growing themselves, those who want to start a growing business and those who want to buy vegetables and fish.
Motivation of the board
To increase the stability of the company and the number of subsidiaries and partners, a clearer website is justified.
