As spring makes its entrance and the first flowers sprout, we invite you to an important day for rural development!
During the national Rural Week 2025 Let's meet at the newly built City meadow and pollinator park in central Östhammar, right next to Källör community center. Here we hear about how preschool children have participated in a Leader project and created a place that benefits biodiversity in the green area at Källör.
After hearing about the new meadow, we continue into the village hall for an exciting conversation about the conditions for good rural development in Östhammar municipality. Two members of parliament, Sanne Lennström (S) and Fredrik Ahlstedt (M), talk about how they see that policy should be designed to benefit rural and archipelago development.
During the evening, Upplandsbygd Lokalt Ledd Utveckling will also present how the LEADER method contributes to positive rural development and share experiences from previous projects in the municipality.
