Display Garden and Biodiversity

Herresta Lada through Tord Olsson in Odensala outside Sigtuna was granted project support to develop a display garden and learning about biodiversity.

Herresta Lada wants to raise awareness of the importance of caring for our land and increasing our self-sufficiency. To raise awareness, Herresta Lada wants to build an attractive visitor destination that truly inspires different visitors. The project is based on skills development of those who work here and development of the own facility, demonstration gardens to create knowledge and conditions to inspire visitors to start growing more on their own land.

 Motivation of the Board:

Herresta can become a place where ideas are born and shared, through courses, an inspiration garden and meetings between people.
It will be an example of local, near-sustainable operations.
The market is ready for local products and there is a steadily increasing demand in our area.

Herresta Lada was also granted project support in marketing within Sustainable Entrepreneurship.

Herresta Lada wants to create a strong brand as a conference and visitor venue with the theme of sustainability. This project will work to communicate the conference and visitor venue Herresta Lada as an inspirational place for sustainability on several levels in general, and more specifically within biodiversity. With a beautiful, inspiring place strongly rooted in sustainability, an attractiveness and interest is created to visit the place as a customer in various areas such as conferences, courses, lectures, events, cafés, etc.
