Umbrella 1- Developing villages is one of Upplandsbygd's umbrella projects. In umbrella projects it is possible to apply for support to implement sub-projects - this means less administration and faster decisions compared to running a project.
What can you search for?
The activities that implementing associations and social enterprises will work on are linked to thematic areas:
• Develop social entrepreneurship
• Innovative youth activities
• Innovative activities for the disabled
• Integration and targeted interventions for newly arrived people
• Develop non-profit work and inclusion work
Who can apply?
Organizations, such as companies and associations. It is an advantage if you collaborate with more organizations in other sectors.
When can you apply?
The application period for the project is from May 2023 to the end of August 2023.

Maximum searchable amount: SEK 100,000 incl. VAT
Support level: 100 %
Apply by: 2023-08-31
To be carried out and reported no later than: 2024-12-31
Geographical delimitation: The main benefit will go to our area in Knivsta, Sigtuna, Uppsala, or Östhammar municipality.

When everyone understands, participation increases
In 2024, the FUB association Tallkrogen in Björklinge developed its website so that it is more user-friendly for the farm's primary target group, which is people with intellectual disabilities.

PAÖ's social and educational program
During 2024, the association Projekt Aktiver Östhammar has supported adults in exclusion by creating a sense of connection, community and development opportunities. Through practical training in gardening, we want to strengthen the participants' skills and increase their opportunities for participation in society. Read more here.
