Network for clear-cut forestry and forest multiple users

The project aims to connect forest owners who already practice clear-cutting forestry or are forest multiple users, but also other forest owners who are curious about switching to more sustainable forms of management. Through the network, the project wants to create a meeting place for knowledge, exchange of experiences and inspiration. The vision is a self-sustaining network that will eventually increase the sustainable use of the forest. 

The project consists of information mailings, networking meetings, study visits, lectures and the development of a digital forum for communication and exchange of experiences. In the long term, this will lead to more people taking the step and managing their forests with clear-cutting methods, for the benefit of biodiversity, social values and ecotourism. Project leader Ingemar also hopes that the network can attract new and other forest owners, such as female forest owners, and thereby contribute to a higher degree of inclusion in the forest sector.
