Inclusive Upplandsbygd 2030
In the Inclusive Upplandsbygd 2030 program, we want to support organizations that can and want to provide young people and adults who are outside the labor market with meaningful activities and interesting meeting places around Upplandsbygd. We also want to provide resources for organizations to develop social entrepreneurship for long-term inclusion work.
About the project
Inclusive Upplandsbygd 2030 is one of our projects that will promote social sustainability in our area. The project started in 2019 and ended at the end of April 2023.
The project's goals were:
- to provide knowledge about and support organizations within inclusion work and social entrepreneurship
- to make resources available to organizations to develop new activities and/or meeting places.
- that some of the new activities being developed can strengthen the employability of the target group of adults in some form of exclusion.
- That some of the new activities being developed are aimed at young people who are in some form of exclusion.
- to make contacts and be inspired by inclusion work in other EU countries
- that new associations and social enterprises are started.
- to strengthen and develop the actors in Upplandsbygd's sustainability network, Inkluderanna and Platsutvekklarna.
What can you search for?
- The participating organizations have sought support to develop new activities
and/or meeting places to include new participants/members in their associations or networks. - Support for developing new activities that can strengthen the employability of
the target group is adults in some form of exclusion and/or is aimed at young people who are in
some form of exclusion. - Support to strengthen social enterprises and new associations.
Who can apply?
Those who could apply to participate in this program were non-profit associations, economic associations, social enterprises and work-integrating social enterprises.

Completed sub-projects
New thinking is growing
The aim of the project is to help people who, for various reasons, have come a long way from the labour market, find a way to their own livelihood and work community. This may include people who have been burned out and who need gentle rehabilitation, newly arrived people or people from a different culture who have not gained a foothold in the labour market, or people with a disability or other need who need a meaningful everyday life. In the project, the work-integrating social enterprise has expanded from Alunda and created a new meeting place and shop for work training in Gimo.

New meeting room
In this project, a new meeting place has been created when Rasbo Sports Club in collaboration with the local LSS accommodation Imera has renovated the premises so that it better meets the needs of both the club members and residents at Imera. The residents of the LSS accommodation have renovated the meeting place together with local craftsmen and thereby gained insight into different professions and work techniques.

Helpers
In this project, six people who are far from the labor market have participated in a training course in gardening. During the project, the association has started up the new social enterprise Helpers in Roslagen, which will offer gardening services.

Project Music Grove
In this project, the FUB association Tallkrogen has arranged activities for young people/young adults with intellectual disabilities. They have invited people who have an interest in music to create music together in a group with a music educator outdoors.

Inclusive associations in rural areas
In this project, the Volunteer Agency in Uppsala has invited the associations in Knivsta and Sigtuna municipalities to learn more about inclusion and to think critically about norms.

Everyone can reach 4H
In this project, 4H in Uppsala County has developed and offered the activity of animal enclosures for children with functional variations. A close collaboration with the FUB associations in the county has started during the project.

Building security together
In this project, Eda Lägergårdsförening has developed into a place for meaningful meetings between people with different backgrounds and life experiences, between young people and older people, which can contribute to increased understanding, tolerance and an expansion of a common We.
