Sustainable Lifestyle

Individual Health through Stina From in Väddika outside Östhammar was granted project support because the project contributes to a greater understanding of what a sustainable lifestyle can look like in practice. Both by seeing crops and participating in the company's activities that take place in collaboration with other local actors in Väddika.

In this project, the company Individhälsa will develop the farm to inspire a more sustainable lifestyle for people who come here for various courses/events. This is by showing what a sustainable lifestyle looks like from seeds to storing crops and cooking. It is also about freeing up more time to be able to develop collaborations and various events more.

This will be done through an investment in an irrigation system in and around the greenhouse that does not exist today. Also ventilation in the roof of the greenhouse to avoid running and opening and closing doors manually. To enable work with lectures on health and treatments, ventilation and irrigation need to be able to take care of themselves more independently. The last thing is to be able to demonstrate sustainable storage to manage self-sufficiency by restoring the earth cellar that is on the farm but which is currently leaking and needs a new covering mat and a sluice with doors. Individhälsa wants to show all people who come to the farm a more sustainable system for small-scale entrepreneurs.

The project concluded with a farm day on July 20, 2024 in collaboration with other local and small-scale entrepreneurs.
