You are all puzzle pieces.
Part of something bigger
Seeds that germinate and spread
And one day you will wonder how it all started
How the planet and people started to feel better
And when you zoom in on Uppland, you will read about people who broke new ground and who came together.
Among them were companies, very small ones. But together they showed the way for many others – who then followed.
Eventually, a tipping point was reached and even the larger social structures took a different turn.
The flapping of a butterfly's wings can create a hurricane.
Every long journey begins with a single step.
You can feel both big and small in a change.
But remember, you are all pieces of the puzzle - a part of something bigger.
We had a closing ceremony in Sustainable Entrepreneurship on June 17th and I wrote the poem above to the participants in our Sustainable Entrepreneurship project. I think you understand what I mean. Remember to support the people and organizations that dare to be brave and show the way to a more sustainable future <3

On each diploma there was a personal text for the participant, and if you read the texts above and below, you will surely understand what a bunch we at Upplandsbygd have the honor of working with! (These texts are a selection)
Since puzzle pieces were a recurring theme, each participant wrote down on a piece of paper how they contribute to a sustainable transition through locally led development in Upplandsbygd. Then we taped the pieces together into a large puzzle and it became clear that all small and local initiatives together really do add up to something bigger:
