Are you a small business owner in crafts, arts or health? Saga Village Association is looking for entrepreneurs who want to set up a table, have sales, and showcase their business at their annual event.
About the organizers: The Saga Association fights for all people to be able to move with their own body and, if possible, leave their wheelchair. The association is run by doctors, pharmacists, researchers, physiotherapists, therasuit therapists, speech therapists, specialists in nutrition and neurofeedback, parents of disabled children, and musicians. Those who created the association are parents of a girl with Habilitation and Rehabilitation needs. They have searched the world for methods to help their daughter and have found several fantastic methods and a lot of knowledge.
Saga Föreningen is implementing a project with our support and has several ideas in the works. The current project is a sub-project under the umbrella project ”Naturvärden i Upplandsbygd” which aims to strengthen or enhance knowledge about ecosystem services. The project aims to complete drawings for a chicken coop that is wheelchair accessible with the help of an architect and chicken experts. When the project is complete, Saga Föreningen will be able to build the chicken coop to preserve endangered Swedish chicken breeds and at the same time offer meaningful activities for adults with various functional variations who are rehabilitated in their training center. By organizing a team of about 20 people who take turns looking after the chickens according to a schedule, the participants are offered an opportunity to feel responsible and connected.
