A successful networking event!

New ideas and collaborations took shape during this year's network meeting.

Yesterday, the Upplandsbygd network met and largely self-organized, initiating several new project ideas and suggestions for upcoming theme meetings. Ideas with the power to move from thoughts and words to action. Thank you all for making this day one of the highlights of the year! A special thank you to the inspiration panel with Annette Wilnersson from Betongfabriken & CO, Elin Boström from Bobrunna farm and Sara Antell from Eda camp association.

During the afternoon we tried using ”"Open space"” as a method. The response from the participants was very positive. They gained energy, found collaborations and learned new things. One commented that it was good that the participants had different interests and skills. Then you meet people you wouldn't have talked to otherwise and it happens more. A fun example was that a participant who wants to start beekeeping on an archipelago island got in touch with a beekeeper who is active in an association for the conservation of bee species. The association is interested in placing hives with unusual species on islands, so that they can live more undisturbed there. This new contact means that the benefit can be greater for more people, while it would cost less.
