About the project
The Red Cross in Gimo wants through the subproject A society for all create opportunities for newcomers to create social interaction and inclusion in Gimo and its surrounding area.
The project's goal is to:
- New arrivals feel included and involved in society.
- Increased social interaction between different groups in the municipality.
- Older people receive support in managing digital tools and new technology.
The project will contribute concretely through activities such as language caféséer, knitting cafeéers, digital meetings and workshops where young people help the elderly with digital tools and services. Mentorship where established residents support newcomers in everyday issues and civics.
