Hello,

My name is Katrin and I am a temporary project manager in the area of Local economy and Sustainable entrepreneurship.

I live on a farm on the Hållnäs peninsula in northern Uppland together with my partner, our three sons, a poodle, two cats, and a bunch of chickens. On the farm, we have also started a beef production with Angus steers and a bull since last winter – so hopefully, there will be significantly more next summer!

In addition to the farm, we run the company Kustvy – A Destination by the Sea, focusing on the tourism industry. The business includes, among other things, holiday accommodations, camping, parking spaces, a marina, events, nature experiences, and a seasonal shop in the harbor. I have previously worked with project management and am educated in business development as well as rural and countryside development.

Now I am really looking forward to being a part of Upplandsbygd – to meet people with ideas, engagement, and drive and to contribute to initiatives that develop and create life in the countryside.

It will be very fun to get to know all the people and businesses that exist around the area. I hope that together we can share experiences, thoughts, and ideas – and in this way both develop and contribute to developing our countryside!
