Sigtuna Sports Club wants to establish Sigtuna as Sweden's premier cycling destination. With Sigtuna as Sweden's premier cycling destination, activity-based tourism to the city will increase and so-called "homestay" will increase, where Swedes choose Sigtuna as a visiting destination instead of traveling abroad. As the tourism industry grows, the income for the municipality's entrepreneurs will also increase.
