Johanna Kylin in Gimo grows a variety of edible plants in her garden, she also does beekeeping. She now wants to start selling her surplus to others in Gimo. To give back to the community in the way she can. The solution will be a simple trading stall with self-service.

About the project

Through this sub-project, Johanna wants from her own overproduction of seasonal food give back to the countryside. Through a simpler actSelf-pruning supermarket to reduce food waste while the resources go back to the countryside.

The sale will take place seasonally and payment will be made through self-service, which will also test the trust in your neighbors in an urban area. The hope is of course that this solution will strengthen trust and community in the area, and help more people dare to try similar methods.

The hope is that this project will lead to increased consumption of local and seasonal food, increased trust among neighbors and promote shorter food chains.

As part of this project and the sub-project Milk and Honey Garden – display garden with knowledge walk The project owner wants to open up his garden as a place for learning and knowledge exchange.

The project is applied for as corporate support and is therefore co-financed by the applicant company, just like our other corporate support.
