Information signs along hiking trails 

The project leaders Oona and Clara want to make it easier for children and young people to discover the nature that is close to them. Based at Eda camp, they want to create experiences that spark curiosity, joy, and a sense of responsibility for the environment. Through outdoor activities, they hope to contribute to both increased well-being and a growing interest in nature and sustainability.

Along two existing walking trails, they are putting up signs that guide visitors through the area. The shorter trail is aimed at younger children and focuses on sparking interest, while the longer trail gives older youth the opportunity to deepen their knowledge. Through a combination of short texts and QR codes that lead to videos, Oona and Clara make nature more accessible, lively, and engaging.

In addition to the hiking trails, they are also involved in creating activities where children and young people can meet and experience nature together. In collaboration with Eda camp and Knivsta library, they want to contribute to a safe and inspiring environment where more can feel at home in nature.

In the long run, Oona and Clara hope that more will open their eyes to the nature in their vicinity and feel inspired to spend more time outdoors. The signs will remain even after the project's end and continue to invite learning, discovery, and new experiences in the area.
