The project was part of the umbrella project The Builders

The project is being carried out on Raggarön, an island in northern Roslagen. They will produce and put up signs at historically interesting places along paths to increase knowledge about what life was once like on Raggarön. They will also purchase benches and prepare parking spaces. The goal is to adapt accessibility so that even people with mobility impairments can get around without hindrance.

The association has also applied for other grants to refurbish and make accessible the old paths that are growing again. There are also plans to produce a brochure showing the different paths with visitor points and rest areas. By preparing new paths and hiking trails and clearing out old paths and roads, the association wants to inspire a more active leisure time, which is positive for residents and visitors on Raggarön.
