Pre-study integration Upplandsbygd

The pilot study aims to give newly arrived and new citizens in Upplandsbygd the opportunity to integrate into Swedish society and the opportunity to participate in meaningful employment.

In four locations, one in each of Upplandsbygd's municipalities, the opportunities for starting businesses, including social entrepreneurship, are being mapped to take advantage of the resources that the residents of the location have and meet existing needs.

The mapping of the locality is done using the establishment analysis method that Coompanion has developed as a first step to initiating social enterprises in smaller towns.
