About the project

Charlottenlund's cider mill is a micro-cidery in Knivsta. They produce apple juice and other beverages from local fruits and berries. They sell the products in their own shop and at a number of retailers in Uppsala, Heby, and Sigtuna municipalities. They participate, among other things, in the autumn market in Knivsta municipality and are involved in organizing the apple festival at Eda campsite. As part of their operations, they offer fruit drop-off for juicing.

The purpose of their project is to replace an existing fruit crusher with a new one that can handle several types of fruits and berries. The current fruit crusher is worn out and primarily suitable for apples.

The goal is to be able to press more types of fruits and berries and increase capacity, thereby reaching more customers and retailers.

They also want to spread their knowledge and will therefore hold an information meeting about the utilization of local resources in the form of fruits and berries from gardens.
