Focus area 4 – Developing rural areas

The project is about urban development. Together with residents, business and community groups, development groups, the tourism industry, property owners, young people, civil servants and politicians in Östhammar Municipality, we want to create and implement locally anchored collaboration, development, action and financing plans for the five urban areas, with the help of an experienced consultant in urban development.

The project wants to strengthen each locality's unique identity based on the locality's history and character, highlight each locality and not create competition between them but strengthen the entire municipality through the different localities.
