Storing more carbon in agricultural land is an opportunity to increase fertility while also combating climate change. But how can you do it more practically? What might it look like at the farm level to maximize carbon storage and still produce food and feed?
Together with Organic Farmers Uppland We are organizing a field trip to Jon Orvendal's farms in Heby municipality. Jon Orvendal is an advisor and legume producer for Nordisk Råvara. He will share his experience with different methods for increasing carbon storage in crop production. Jon collaborates with Farm capital who will also talk about their approach to carbon credits.

When? June 16, 12–4 p.m.
Where?
- We start with a simple lunch and presentations at Altuna community center.
- Then private transportation (approx. 7 minutes) to Jon's farms for a field walk and questions.
How do I get there?
- See the village hall website: https://www.altunagarden.se/map
- By public transport: Bus 225 from Enköping or Heby to Altuna community center: https://www.ul.se/
