Welcome to the association dialogue on September 8th!
Welcome to a meeting with the aim of promoting community and engagement in Gimo
Upplandsbygd locally led development together with the Sports Association of Uppland (RF-SISU Uppland) and Östhammar Municipality invite you to a meeting with the aim of promoting public health and community in Gimo. In connection with this meeting, we want to start a local network of associations with different orientations that, through collaboration with each other, can invite more people into movement and community.
At the meeting we will:
● Get to know each other and learn more about which associations are represented
● Discuss the needs and challenges of the associations present.
● Consider possible collaboration between associations to facilitate each other's activities
● Discuss what efforts and resources are needed to enable people who are not yet active to take the step to try an activity. In connection with this, we will present results from dialogues with residents of Gimo who are not used to associations, which were conducted in May.
● Present support that your association can seek to develop your activities.
Questions we will address
• What challenges exist in association life?
• Is there a target group we are not reaching?
• How do we reach those who are outside?
• Can we find non-profit forces, among those we cannot reach today?
You are warmly welcome to register for this meeting by September 5th - We will offer light food and coffee!
