...we did on April 8th in Björklinge
We started the afternoon with a visit to the fine Björklinge local history museum, which attracts more and more visitors as interest in local history grows.
Afterwards, we took a walk to Björkvallsskolan where we sat in the dining room.
We organizers presented ourselves together, so fun and successful that all five municipalities in Upplandsbygd together with Upplandsbygd made this possible!
Inspiring Petra Lindberg from Kurbits guided us through a journey on how to develop the place you love.
Important things to consider:
What are you proud of about your place? Tell others about it!
Lift others and recommend other actors in the area.
And brag!
Cultural tourism is a growing trend!
See the value from the visitor's eyes - you are sitting on a treasure (cultural heritage)
For example, the German tourist with an interest in Sweden is most interested in local history and cultural heritage. That's you!
