Conversations for a brighter future
The project is part of the umbrella project Young Planet Caretaker.
In the project Conversations for a brighter future want Ludvig Jogmark and Frida Axelsson to promote conversations about climate and sustainability related to the parliamentary election 2026. They will hold several interactive workshops, the purpose of which is to create new meeting places and enable local engagement.
About the project
The project leaders Ludvig and Frida want to create space for more conversations about climate and sustainability in connection with the parliamentary election, and therefore they will invite to workshops during the summer! The purpose of these is to make it easier for people to engage, share experiences, and find ways to talk about climate issues in their own daily lives.
Workshops will primarily be held at libraries around Uppland. Here, participants will receive both an introduction to the climate crisis and the opportunity to practice conversations with others. The focus is on creating a safe and open environment where both beginners and more knowledgeable can participate and learn from each other. The experiences from the project will then be shared further, for example through a podcast, so that more can take part in their work and results.
In the long term, Ludvig and Frida hope that their initiative can contribute to a more engaged local community, where more feel safe talking about climate issues and where new collaborations and initiatives can emerge.
Do you want a workshop to be held in a specific place? If so, please feel free to contact either Ludvig or Frida:
