Upplandsbygd Locally Led Development is now looking for a full-time substitute during the period August 10, 2026 to June 30, 2027<\/strong>, as one of our project managers will be on leave.<\/em><\/p>\n

If you haven't heard of Upplandsbygd Locally Led Development before...<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Upplandsbygd Lokalt Ledd Utveckling is a non-profit organization where non-profit, public and private forces take a joint approach to rural development in the municipalities of Knivsta, Sigtuna, Uppsala, Vallentuna and \u00d6sthammar. This is done through locally led development with the Leader method, financed by, among others, the EU and the municipalities concerned, and with sustainable development as a guiding principle.<\/p>\n

The organization's office is located in Storvreta, just north of Uppsala, centrally located in the operating area with good communications. The office consists of a small working group where we collaborate closely and help each other to achieve the organization's goals.<\/p>\n

What will my tasks be?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

As a project manager\/coordinator at Upplandsbygd, you will primarily work on running and coordinating projects, while also contributing to the work of handling project support within locally led development.<\/p>\n

Development efforts and collaboration<\/h5>\n

A main part of the position involves initiating, running and coordinating projects, especially related to local food and shorter food chains. In the role, you build networks and strengthen collaboration between producers, processors, buyers, municipalities, associations and other local actors. The work also includes issues regarding distribution solutions for purchasing small-scale and local food.<\/p>\n

An important part is making complex issues understandable, creating structure in collaborative processes and translating ideas into concrete development.<\/p>\n

Advice and processing<\/h5>\n

Another part of the service involves providing information and advice to individuals, associations, companies and other actors who want to apply for project support within locally led development. You support project ideas from the early stages to the application, process project applications and follow up on approved projects. This means, among other things, assessing project ideas based on the organization's strategy and the Swedish Board of Agriculture's regulations, liaising with project owners, preparing cases and contributing to ensuring that the projects have good conditions to be implemented.<\/p>\n

Joint office work<\/h5>\n

Since Upplandsbygd is a small organization, you will also be an important part of the office's joint work. This means that if necessary, you can support other parts of the operation, participate in communication, arrangements, follow-up, reporting and other ongoing tasks.<\/p>\n
